PHOTOS: 'Electing Great Women' Gathering on North Haven

Democrats from Southampton and East Hampton turned out to support 2011 candidates.

A Democratic fundraiser was hosted by Dr. Gail Furman and Judith Hope on North Haven to elect "Great Women" seeking local political office. Anna Throne-Holst, running for re-election as Southampton Town Supervisor, Southampton Town Councilwoman Bridget Fleming, going for a full four-year term after serving 16 months in office, and Silvia Overby, who is bidding for an open seat on the East Hampton Town Board were supported by dozens of attendees, including Alec Baldwin.
