1. First, if you're looking for a way to get your kids to give up the mounds of sugary treats they got trick-or-treating, here's a way to entice them. Hampton Dental Group in Southampton Village is collecting today candy as part of Operation Gratitude, a candy buy-back program. The youngsters receive $1 for every pound of candy, which will then be sent to the American troops at war. Everyone will receive a complimentary tooth brush. The office, which is located at 325 Meeting House Lane, will take candy from 1 - 5 p.m.

2. There's only 24 hours until Election Day, so it's now or never to brush up on the issues. While there are no local races, the state positions are just as important. So know where you are going to vote and how you are going to vote on Tuesday.
