PHOTOS: Fun for All at Montauk's Fall Festival
Montauk's main street was closed for fun and food for all ages.
There was fun for everyone this weekend, when the Montauk Chamber of Commerce held their annual Fall Festival "On the Green" in downtown Montauk. Special for children were a 30-horse carousel, inflatable rides, crab races, pumpkin decorating, face painting, a poster contest and street painting with pastels. Hundreds bought their 2012 commemorative mugs and lined up on Main Street for the Main Event: The Montauk Clam Chowder Contest. Attendees could also enjoy a farmers market under the tent, October-fest style food, beer, wine and seafood.
