The Montauk Library will be closed for two days this week as the lighting is upgraded in the building.

LIPA presented the incentives to business at an East Hampton Town Hall forum in March. The program oversees existing fixtures replaced with energy efficient fixtures and light bulbs. LIPA contracted with LIME Energy company to do lighting assessments.

"Both the main floor and lower level lighting will be upgraded. It will, hopefully, conserve energy and lower the library's energy costs," she said.
