May 31: Mardi Gras Comes to the Talkhouse

What a weekend! I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday weekend. The day after is the last day of the month, and I can hardly believe it's June already. So here's what you need to know as the kids start to count down the last days of school and we really gear up for summer.  

1. We'll bring you some photos from this weekend. On Monday, we posted the -- there was an amazing turnout despite the sopping wet conditions. Also, check out photos on Tuesday from Saturday's Montauk School PTA Car Wash and the East Hampton Ocean Rescue Squad drill in Amagansett on Sunday.

2. Check out our "Question of the Day" that posts at 7 a.m. It has to do with the Memorial Day weekend .  .  .

3. The will meet for a special meeting on Tuesday at 10 a.m. 

4. The  The workshop starts at 4 p.m. Sign-up is required.

5. It's Mardi Gras at the on Tuesday night. , a 12-piece band that blends New Orleans party music, will perform at 8 p.m. The cover is just $10.
