May 26: Follow a Developing Story, Take Springs Yoga Class

On the eve of the holiday weekend, there's a lot going on already.

Just one more day until the holiday weekend is here. Are you ready for the summer season to begin? This will just be a preview, but I'm not so sure I'm prepared . . .

1. Thursday morning brings with it a developing story. The Suffolk County District Attorney's office said Kerri Dewhirst, who had been a bookkeeper at Fuels, will be arrested and charged with from the company. More information will be available on after her arraignment in county court on Thursday. Stay tuned for more information.

2. "" continues on Thursday morning. Eve Eliot will teach a class at the at 8:30. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, the class is an open level course. Just be sure to bring your own yoga mat. Two foam yoga blocks and a yoga strap are also recommended. The classes are $15 each. Twenty percent of all proceeds benefit the church.

3. The will host a series of computer classes, starting with ones for beginners, on Thursday afternoon. While you're probably not a beginner if you're on East Hampton Patch, keep the courses in mind for someone you know. They run through June 23. starts at 2 p.m., but check our calendar for other classes.

4. Rabbi Adam Mintz and Sharon Liberman Mintz are the Scholars-in-Residence at the this weekend. The discussion begins on Thursday night with "" at 7. The lecture is open to the public and free.

5. A is forming on the South Fork and there will be a meeting at the .  You must have given honorable service in the Marine Corps or as be a Navy Corpsman who served with the marines. The story of the marines on Gardiner's Island in July 1869 will be told. Brian Carabine has more information about the meeting that starts at 7.
