March 24: Kindergarten Registration Continues, Chambers Holds Spring Mixer, and Call for Op-Eds

Thank goodness those winter jackets didn't get put away just yet. The winter storm alert continues into Thursday. According to the Weather Channel, there will be a mix of snow and rain in the morning, partially clearing in the afternoon.

1. For East Hampton School District residents, if you missed on Wednesday, there's another registration drive on Thursday. Parents of children 5 years old on or before Dec. 1, 2011 can start school in September. Parents should bring their child's birth certificate or passport, a proof of residency (a deed, lease, contract of sale or tax bill) and the child's immunization record to between 1 and 6 p.m.
