June 27: Yoga for Kids, Dance for Mom

This was a busy weekend, wasn't it? Between high school graduations and a that backed up traffic for three hours. Let's hope the week ahead -- before the Fourth of July -- is a more quiet week.

1. Another big congratulations to all the high school graduates who got their diplomas this weekend. If you weren't at the East Hampton High School graduation, you simply must check out valedictorian .

2. Get your summer reading started in the at . Lovers of literature meet at 1:30 p.m.

3. Since the kids are out of school, why not have them try ? Students from kindergarten through fourth grade can take part in the class offered at the at 3:30 p.m. It's $10. 

4. For parents, there's the at . Hip-hop, salsa, lyrical jazz, and funk styles will all be included. Reservations are suggested and a donation is requested. It begins at 5:45 p.m.

5. Actor Steven Bauer, best known for his role as Manny Ribera in Scarface, will perform with his band at on Monday night. It begins at 8 p.m. and there is a $5 cover.
