Don't Miss: Montauk Field Day Sunday Afternoon

Montauk Youth and the Concerned Citizens of Montauk host a family fun day at Third House.

Despite the rain this morning, Montauk Youth and the Concerned Citizens of Montauk's Field Day is on for Sunday afternoon.

"It may be raining right now, but the radar looks pretty good for this afternoon," Maureen Rutkowski said in an email Sunday morning.

Field Day, complete with races, bounce houses, obstacle course, tug of war, and more, takes place at Third House at Montauk County Park from noon to 4 p.m. There's even a pie throw, and we hear Montauk School's superintendent and principal Jack Perna is this year's participant.

The event is free.

Food will also be served and there will be raffles with prizes such as a Beach Cruiser Bicycle, iPad mini, CCOM merchandise, WAMPUM merchandise and more. Tickets cost $1 for 1, $5 for 6.

Have fun everyone!
