Don't Miss: Main Beach Fireworks

The East Hampton Fire Department's annual display is set for Saturday.

Catch the annual East Hampton Fire Department fireworks display on Saturday night in the village.

It begins at about 8:30 p.m.

Firefighters will be taking donations as you walk onto the beach, so don't forget to reach into your pocket. Each show is based on the previous year's donations, but the department tries to put on a $30,000 show regardless.

Some rules to keep in mind: trucks, with proper permits, are allowed to drive onto the beach from Wiborg's Beach east. Only pedestrians are allowed at Georgica and Main beaches. Beach fires are not allowed on the night of the fireworks.

In case of rain, the show will take place Sunday. Check back to East Hampton Patch later for an update.
