Minnie, a 6-month old Lab mix, has been missing from her owners' home in Wainscott since last week.
Her family is offering a reward for her return.
Jackie Minetree said that Minnie went missing on May 30 at approximately 3 p.m., when Minetree's daughter let her out at their Merchants Path home.
It was a busy day in the normally quiet neighborhood and Minetree is worried that Minnie was taken because she is very friendly. "If she were found she has tags - name - and an ARF tag. She has microchip as she is an dog," Minetree said.
Minnie is black, but has a white spot on her chest. She weighs approximately 25 lbs.
"I have searched, posted "missing" posters, posted on Facebook (as well as "shared" by many people), contacted neighbors etc," she said. She's taken out ads out, but no word so far.
There was another dog missing on Merchants Path, Minetree said, though she believes the dog has since been found.
