Daylight Saving Time Begins Sunday

Set clocks forward one hour Sunday.

Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

That means we "spring forward" one hour Sunday.

Conventional clocks will need to be pushed forward one hour. Electronic ones connected to iPhones and computers do it automatically.

Most of the United States will remain on Daylight Saving Time until 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, when we in New York return to Eastern Standard Time.

Local fire departments also advise everyone to change the batteries in their smoke detectors on Daylight Saving Time days.
