Cub Scouts, Springs Band Take Home Top Honors from Santa Parade

The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce names winners from Saturday's parade.

After another successful Santa Parade, the winners have been crowned. 

The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce executive director Marina Van announced on Tuesday that in the float category, the East Hampton Cub Scouts Pack 428 took home the top prize. The girl scouts float came in second and the YMCA took home third place. 

In the marching category, the Springs School Band won first place.

In second place, The Star of The East Lodge 843, which had a combination of a float followed by marchers, including Shrek, Chubaka, and The Easter Bunny, in addition to a float filled with kids, toys and Mickey Mouse.  

The group of Dancehampton dancers won third prize.
