Clamshell Foundation Vying To Win Online Contest

The Clamshell Foundation needs your help to win a contest.

Our Fabulous Variety Show, a performance group, is holding a contest to decide which organization should get the proceeds to its June production, "An Eclectic Cabaret" at Guild Hall in East Hampton Village. The group that gets the most "likes" on their page wins.

"We got into the contest late, but are already second or third in the rankings," said Rossetti Perchick, the director of the not-for-profit organization that supports people and projects in need through highly attended events like the SandCastle Contest in Amagansett and the Great Bonac Fireworks Show over Three Mile Harbor. 

Other contestants include Round Table Theatre Company & Academy, The Bridgehampton Community House Association, The Hamptons Foundation for the Art, Soldier Ride The Hamptons, Riverhead Faculty & Community Theatre, North Fork Community Theatre, and the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton.

The voting is over at midnight on April 7, so time is running out to help the foundation reach the top of the pack. Supporters may go to the Facebook page and scroll down until they find the Clamshell Foundation, give it a "like" and then pass it on to friends.
