Board Approves College Tuition Money for Village Employees

Each student will get $750.

Several employees of  East Hampton Village don't have to dig too deep into their pockets for tuition for their children — they are each are getting $750 from an anonymous donor.

According to a report on Newsday, the donor offered the money for up to 8 families each year they are in college.

The money was donated through the village, which distributes the funds through a grant process, according Mayor Paul F. Rickenbach Jr., who said the donor just wanted to do something nice for the community.
