Another Snowfall Slated For Saturday Could Bring 4 Inches

Snow will be falling again by Saturday, experts said.

Saturday will bring yet another snowfall to the region, with up to four inches across Long Island and New York City, according to the National Weather Service.

According to Joey Picca of the National Weather Service office at Upton, snow is expected for the first half of Saturday, with two to four inches expected to fall between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. across Long Island and New York City.

Temperatures will start off in the lower 20s around Westhampton Beach, with highs in the mid 30s across the region and in New York.

The snow is slated to clear out from west to east, beginning to dry up in New York City by early afternoon and early evening on the East End.

Sunday could bring a "quick shot" of some flurries but no measurable accumulation, and is expected to be mostly dry, according to the NWS.
