American Flag Stolen from Crossroads Music Memorial Day Weekend
Thief makes off with patriotic symbol.
Whoever swiped the American flag, pole and all, from Crossroads Music over Memorial Day weekend is probably in for some bad karma.
That's at least how Michael Clark, the instrument store owner, feels about the theft.
"It's almost comical," he said. "Who steals an American flag?"
Clark said he was surprised the old flag went missing, but didn't bother to file a police report.
He said he's left large wind chimes outside by accident before and they were in place the next morning. He even left a window open once, and Legis. Jay Schneiderman, who is also a musician, closed it for him.
"Of all things to get stolen -- on Memorial Day weekend," Clark said with a laugh.
