5 Things To Do This Weekend

Help clean-up Napeague, support East Hampton day care by taking a run, and more.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further. Here's just some of what's happening this weekend — the last before Memorial Day. For more events head to our calendar.

1. The is well underway, but there's plenty of shows to catch at one of the many locations. Go down to the Montauk Green on Saturday or Sunday to catch a show and eat some food. Money raised goes toward another event, the Fourth of July fireworks in Montauk.

2. The is scheduled for Saturday morning in East Hampton Village. The Star of the East Lodge No. 843 and the East Hampton Rotary Club have organized this race for the second year in a row to benefit the East Hampton Day Care Learning Center. A 5K, 1 mile, and 400 meter races are held, starting at the day care center. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. For more information . Fees range between $10 and $15.

3. The will be held at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor on Saturday morning, too. Registration $50 and begins at 8 a.m.

4. Who doesn't love a yard sale? The will be emptying out the Thrift Shop in preparation for its upcoming Designer Showhouse over Memorial Day Weekend. The will take place at the ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott on Saturday from 8:30 a.m  to noon. All proceeds go to ARF’s veterinary costs.

5. Citizens for Access Rights has deemd Saturday , which will kickoff with a beach clean-up at Napeague Lane in Amagansett, starting at 10 a.m. Anyone can participate. A fundraiser will be held at the in Amagansett at 7 p.m. Little Head Thinks will perform. Admission is $10 or $5 for CfAR members.
