East Hampton Patch is not just about news, it is also a community hub where readers can share information, including events, yard sales, fundraisers, and other announcements, such as call outs for volunteers, congratulatory notes on births and marriages, and information on lost and adoptable pets.

The following is a round-up of announcements posted to the East Hampton community Board this week. 

1. Have you heard about the new Beach opening in Manhattan?

Albert R O'Connell III, LCSW-R, CHt,  "The Beach Hypnotist" announced that his new Manhattan office is now up and running. 

2. 
Year Round Restaurant Staff

Highway Diner & Bar posted that they are looking for servers, runners, bussers, and bartenders as well as line cooks and managers with experience. 

3. Handmade quilts for sale!

Susan Ecklund announced that she is now selling handmade quilts on Etsy. 

4. Dancer Teacher Wanted

The YMCA announced that is is looking for a dance teacher with experience in teaching a variety styles of dance and ages.  Position is part time from Sept-June. 

5. Volunteer at Cancer Fundraiser

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which raises money to find a cure for blood cancer, as well as to support the patients and their families who are currently fighting it announced that it is looking for volunteers for two upcoming events.
