5 Events Happening This Weekend
From a variety show to a food drive, pancake breakfast to HarborFrost, there's plenty going on this weekend.
Looking for something to do this weekend? There's plenty going on. Here's just a taste:
1. Studio Playhouse Community Theatre will hold a talent a filled with all different types of performers at in Wainscott this weekend. The show opens Friday night at 7:30 p.m., with an encore performance on Saturday at the same show time. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.
2. If you are looking for some music, head to . On Friday night, in the Rumorz Lounge at the bowling alley from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The cover charge will run you $10, but you'll get a free CD. Also, Big Hair Daze returns to Rumourz to play favorite hits from the 80s and 90s on Saturday from 10 p.m. to midnight. The $10 cover will also get you in for an autograph session and a meet n' greet with the band.

3. The Wainscott Citizens Advisory Committee is hosting a at their on Saturday morning from 9 to noon. Dried and canned goods, cereal, rice, condiments and snacks are welcome contributions, as well as monetary gifts. Please make checks payable to the , as that is where the food will be distributed.
4. Sag Harbor will be a Winter Wonderland (even if the temperature doesn't quite give you that frosty feel) on Saturday from noon through after 6 p.m. HarborFrost, now in its second year, will include ice sculpting demonstrations, a fireworks display, and polar bear plunge. 5. There are two pancake breakfasts on Sunday. The Ladies Relay for Life team will hold a from 7 to 11 a.m. Proceeds will go towards the American Cancer Society. The cost is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for children. In East Hampton, at the , the goes from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Money raised will benefit the Youth Group's mission trip to Cuba next year. Adults eat for $10 and children for $5.
