5 Events Happening This Weekend

With a three-day holiday, find something to do in East Hampton.

Looking for something to do over the three-day weekend holiday weekend? Look no further.

1. The in East Hampton wraps up a three-day event of Senior Projects with in the Senior Building Lecture Hall from 7 to 9 p.m. This night features four students presenting their work in shorts, animation, and documentaries. The presentation is free.

2. Grab an Italian meal at in East Hampton on Saturday. A will be held at the church between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Take out or eat-in. As the event listing says, "There’s nothing like a good home-cooked pasta dinner." A donation of $15 per adult and $5 for children is requested. We hear St. Luke's will be there cooking up a storm.

3. The Kiwanis Club is holding its at in Montauk on Saturday night, starting at 7 p.m. The extravaganza includes an open bar for four hours. There will be a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle. The Hambonian Express will perform. Tickets are $75 in advance, $80 at the door.

4. 's free Winter Film Festival at continues with "" on Sunday at 4 p.m. The film, which won five Israeli Academy Awards including Best Picture, focuses on the HR Manager of Jerusalem's largest bakery as he struggles with family life and the job he hates when a suicide bombing changes his life. The film is in Hebrew, English, and Romanian with English subtitles.

5. On Monday, honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in East Hampton will hold a at 1 p.m. The Rev. Michael Jackson of the in Sag Harbor will join the Rev. Charles Earle Hopson as a guest speaker and his church's choir will perform.
