Thursday, June 6th:

  • Rogers Memorial Library, Lap-time Stories, Enjoy stories, songs, finger plays and movement with your little one while nurturing your child’s language, auditory, and motor skills' development and promoting a love of books, Ages 18-35 Months, 10:15 a.m. (Southampton)
  • Rogers Memorial Library, Wii , Dance and work up a sweat in this fun filled tween event! Light refreshments will be served, Grades 2-5, 5:00 p.m. (Southampton)
  • Hampton Library, Rhyme Time, songs, rhymes, stories and art exploration, Ages 1-3 Years Old, 10:00 a.m. (Bridgehampton)
  • Hampton Library, Lego Mania!,  Create anything you like with Legos at the library! This is a great chance for parents to relax and socialize, too. Library appreciates Lego donations, Ages 4+, 3:30 p.m. (Bridgehampton)
  • John Jermain Library, Story, Songs and Playtime, Ages 1-4 Years old, 10:30 a.m. (Sag Harbor)
  • East Hampton Library, Father's Day Story Time & Craft, Ages 4-6 Year Old, 4:00 p.m.
  • Youth Bureau Adventure Days, The Southampton Town Youth Bureau is starting to accept applications for their YB Adventure Days summer enrichment program. 8 weeks of exploration, arts & crafts, water activities and 1 weekly field trip. Starting July 8th and ending on August 29th. Youth in 2nd-7th grade are eligible to participate. Fees are as follows: 1st camper $350, 2nd sibling camper $250, 3rd sibling camper $200.   • Kids Taekwondo, Hawrangs Taekwondo Kids at Evolution Fitness is a fun way to approach martial arts. Kids develop coordination, focus and confidence. Children that practice Martial Arts are more likely to do better in school, they learn values that are not taught in formal education, like courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, courage and discipline. Our students are also encouraged to participate in State and National competitions.   • CMEE, Music Together by the Dunes, The Joy of Family Music – Join us in this popular Early childhood Music and Movement program for children newborn through age 5 and their Parents or Caregivers. Singing, dancing, rhythmic chants, instrument play and movements are explored in a fun, educational environment. Songbook, CD’s, newsletters and parent guide w/DVD are included with tuition, ages Birth-5 years old, 10:30 a.m.(Bridgehampton)
  • CMEE, Pizza & Pajama Night, Pizza & Pajama Night to Madoo Conservancy in Sagaponack. This magical 2.5 acre garden will be the setting for relaxing family evening. Children will enjoy exploring the grounds and participating in a scavenger hunt, reservations required - 631.537.8250, 6:00 p.m. (Bridgehampton)
  • East Hampton Library, "Print It Out" Art Program, Discover  faces made in prints by famous artists. Then print out your own faces and shapes, using printmaking techniques designed for children, Ages 4+, 3:30 p.m.
  • Amagansett Library, Shake, Rattle & Roll, Ages Toddler-3 Years Old, 10:00 a.m.
  • East Hampton Farmers' Market, 136 North Main Street, Families, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
  • Hayground School Farmers' Market, 151 Mitchell Lane, Bridgehampton, Families, 3:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

Hamptons Mamas has a new team member! Welcome Theresa Novak of "A Child's Comfort Care!" A Child's Comfort Care provides an all "green" happy and healthy atmosphere, where children can create, socialize, learn & relax in a secure and loving environment.  At A Child's Comfort caters to each individual child, embracing his/her needs & supporting a comfort level helping obtain emotional and physical well-being.Our focus is on fun, creativity & a basic very light educational learning. Mini aerobics, baby style yoga, open outdoor space for free movement and mindfulness; makes up for some of the physical activities for toddlers.  Check out their website: www.AChildsComfortCare.com.
