  • CMEE, Music Together by the Dunes, The Joy of Family Music – Join us in this popular Early childhood Music and Movement program for children newborn through age 5 and their Parents or Caregivers. Singing, dancing, rhythmic chants, instrument play and movements are explored in a fun, educational environment.   • CMEE, Pizza & Pajama Night, Pizza & Pajama Night to Madoo Conservancy in Sagaponack. This magical 2.5 acre garden will be the setting for relaxing family evening.   • East Hampton Library, "Print It Out" Art Program, Discover  faces made in prints by famous artists. Then print out your own faces and shapes, using printmaking techniques designed for children, Ages 4+, 3:30 p.m.

    • Rogers Memorial Library, All Signs Point to Dad, Let’s make Father’s Day extra special by using a variety of treasures from our local beaches. Use your imagination to make a special sign just for Dad. Program hosted by the Southampton Historical Museum, Grades 3-5, 10:30 a.m. (Southampton)

    • CMEE, Lego Club,  Your child can construct works of art using the thousands of Legos at The Museum.  To help CMEE continue to build this program, we are looking for Lego donations! 10:00 a.m.- Noon (Bridgehampton)
    • CMEE, Roots & Shoots Intro Class, gardening program, Roots & Shoots, will be returning this summer. Emily Herrick, one of our new instructors, will guide children as they tend CMEE’s garden and visit the Madoo Conservancy in Sagaponack. Classes will also include garden themed songs, stories and craft activities. Children will get to listen to Emily read The Secret Fairy Garden, by Allia Zobel Nolan and make their own potted Fairy garden, 10:00 a.m. (Bridgehampton)
    • CMEE, Funtastic Science,"Funtastic" Science, a developmentally appropriate science laboratory for children ages two to four years. The class will be led by Andrea Van Dyke, one of CMEE's new educators.Families will enjoy participating in playful activities designed to introduce basic science concepts (buoyancy, motion, physical change, chemical change, etc.). Activities planned for this four week class include: making clay boats (and trying to sink them); making concoctions; and playing with ramps, tunnels and things that roll, This Saturday Andrea will be showing families how to make a "bottle" fountain with just a few simple materials.     • Amagansett Library, TAKE WING STORY & CRAFT TIME We'll let our imaginations soar with stories and make butterfly wings, Families, 3:30 p.m.
    • KamaDeva Kids Yoga, Story time, Story Time Yoga is open for strong walkers and yogis up to age 6. A thematic half hour of stretching, poses, and breathing reflective of the story du jour.     • The Green School, Jr. Pony Camp (Session 2), FUN, SAFE, AND EXCEPTIONAL INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION – Jr. Pony Camp focuses on the basics of riding and horsemanship, taught through games for our youngest riders. A morning at Jr. Pony Camp consists of grooming and ground work basics as well as lead-line lessons, Pre-registration required by calling the office Monday - Friday at 631-537-1634 or emailing info@theartfarms.org.     • OUR GEOLOGIC HISTORY, Walk Leader: Angela Firestone, Geologist and Former Curator of Geology, Cranbrook Institute of Science. Join Angela for a hike to the Ronkonkoma Terminal Moraine, which was deposited on the South Fork during the last advance of the Wisconsin/Illinois ice sheet, about 10,000 years ago. Through observation of glacial erratics found along the shore and in the moraine, Angela will trace the origin of the material that you will see, which was scraped up as the glaciers advanced over the mountains, eventually transporting and dropping this material as the face of the glacier melted,  Reservations are required for all events.     • SOFO - SHARK DISSECTION, Workshop Leader: Frank Quevedo, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Executive Director. Back by popular demand. If you love sharks, this workshop with Frank is for you! You’ll dissect a small shark, known as a Spiny Dogfish, and learn to identify its anatomical parts to better understand how it swims, eats, and respires. Frank will focus on the internal aspects, but will discuss the external as well. Dissecting tools, gloves, and eye-protection will be supplied. There is a $20 materials fee, Reservations are required for all events.     • Parrish Art Museum, Open Studio for Children & Caregivers, The new open art studio is a place for families to engage, explore, and create art together through hands-on activities. Each month features a different theme and a variety of art materials and techniques inspired by the artwork on view in the galleries.
