When local attorney and business leader, Kyle Lynch of Bainton Lynch LLP realized this fact, Mr. Lynch approached the Project MOST board with an idea to form a Scholarship and Leadership Committee. “Project MOST is a critical resource in the East Hampton community helping all kids who want to participate, access and afford after school learning resources. Working parents know their children have a safe place to be after school. It is vital to the future of East Hampton’s you that Project MOST must not go away -  ” says Lynch.  Mr. Lynch will also serve as the committee’s Chairman.

At a time when governmental resources to meet the needs of our children is declining, Project MOST realizes the importance of private fundraising in order to secure its future.  The Committee’s mission is to raise the funds necessary to ensure that all of the children in our community who want to attend Project MOST will have the opportunity to do so, that no child in East Hampton will be home alone after school, and that the wonderful services and programs offered at Project MOST will continue and expand.

Lisa Rana, Board President of Project MOST states, “The goal of this committee is to "scale up" the mission of Project MOST so that more and more children can participate in the academic and enrichment programs offered during these critical afterschool hours.  Project MOST has served our community for over 13 years and we want to make sure that this valuable program will be here for many more years to come. A series of projects will be planned to accomplish this goal.”

The committee’s first project is an exclusive dinner to be held at the studio of renowned East End painter, Roy Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson’s work has centered on the garden and nature, two concepts that are near and dear to the heart of Project MOST.

Joe Realmuto will co-host the dinner with Kyle Lynch, also notably Nick & Toni’s is donating the food and staff.
