— Representatives from the United States Army Corps of Engineers will be in East Hampton on Thursday to discuss erosion-control work for downtown Montauk. The meeting will be held at East Hampton Town Hall at 11 a.m. 

— Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out our Weekend Agenda.

— Don't forget, you can donate your old laptop computer to the Peconic Institute for a digital family literacy program, but the drive ends Sept. 30. There is a drop off location at LTV in Wainscott. 

— This recipe looked so good that I just had to share it. April Murray posted a link for instructions for a Pumpkin Pie Smoothie, and it's healthy too. Yum. 

— Check out East Hampton School District's school news for the week.         Among the 411 on school happenings, Kyle Anello joins the middle school teaching technology part-time, along with Trevor Gregory.
