Property Envy; Montauk Fall Festival Volunteers Needed

Your guide to what's happening in the community.

Good morning, East Hampton.

— Weather is looking good for Thursday. A few clouds early, otherwise mostly sunny, according to the Weather Channel. High 77F.

— At the Hampton Classic Horse Show, aside from everything going on in the rings, the Delete Blood Cancer organization will be on hand to collect donor information for DBC's bone marrow registry on Thursday. The Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons will present birds of prey in the Kids Area, too.

Nick & Toni’s has announced a new weekly special, The Daily Dish, available Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday beginning on Sept. 8. The cost of each entrée is $21. Weekly selections include Famous Pan Roasted Chicken, any pasta entrée, a fish of the day, and milanese of the day.

— Summer may not be over, but we're looking ahead to fall. Volunteers are needed for the 32nd annual Montauk Fall Festival, slated for Oct. 12 and 13. You could ladle chowder, help with kids' activities, man the beer or wine trucks, or lend a hand with food service. Call Pat, whose number is listed here.

— On Tuesday night, an episode of Property Envy featured a home in Montauk and one in Amagansett. The other was on Shelter Island, and they were all meant to showcase the best of the Hamptons. Did you see the show? Are you familiar with these houses? Tell us which is your favorite.
