Get Ready for the Harvest Full Moon on Wednesday

— The good news is it will get warmer throughout the day. The forecast is sunny with temperatures rising towards the upper 60s. Winds light and variable. 

— Today, we'll follow up on the results from the Republican primary for supervisor, which only had write-in candidates, last week.

— Speaking of the election, justice candidate Carl Irace has been blogging about his experience and his take on the town. 

— A reminder for Thursday: The Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt will host a "Harvest" full moon hike, starting at 8 p.m. It's a leisurely paced one-hour hike in Vineyard Field, behind the South Fork Natural History Museum in Bidgehampton. Refreshments will be served after under the moonlight.

— In case you missed it, last week Patch reported that the Bridgehampton Fire District is selling off a small piece of land in Wainscott at an opening bid of $925,000. Would you pay that for a 60-by-100 feet parcel?
