Your guide to what's happening in the community.

Good morning, East Hampton.

— I attended the League of Women Voters debate last night in East Hampton. The first debate was between Legis. Jay Schneiderman and his opponent Chris Nuzzi. The second debate was between the town board candidates. We'll bring you more on that story later today.

— This morning, there was an accident in front of One Stop Market on Springs Fireplace Road that sent a few people to the hospital. As soon as we hear back from police, we'll let you know what happened there. Remember, you can give us tips on accidents in the area. Just email me.

— What do you think of the Republicans' claim that the East Hampton Conservators violated campaign finance regulations? Tell us what you think.

— With the colder season upon us, Maureen's Haven is gearing up for another winter of helping the homeless keep warm.  St. Luke's Episcopal Church held an auction benefit for the organization on Sunday.

— The Naked Stage presents "TARTUFFE" by Moliere tonight at Guild Hall at 7:30 p.m. The staged reading features Joshua Perl, Georgia Warner, Lucas Beck, Christian Scheider, Molly McKenna, Rachel Feldman, J. Kelly Caldwell, Kathryn Lerner, Joseph Brondo, and Rae LaBorne.
