Your guide to what's happening around the community.
Good morning, East Hampton.
— Our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Eileen Roaman. I knew Eileen a bit from my days at The East Hampton Star, and I used to run into her all the time at Mary's Marvelous in Amagansett. A service will be held for her on Thursday at the Jewish Center of the Hamptons in East Hampton at 11 a.m. Rest in peace, Eileen.
— The weather is expected to better today than yesterday. Except for a few afternoon clouds, it will be mainly sunny. However, a shower or thunderstorm is possible. The high will be 78 F.
— We heard Bill and Hillary Clinton took a stroll around Wainscott on Tuesday evening. The former President of the United States and former Secretary of State are vacationing in Sagaponack this month. Did you see them? Get a photo?
— There's a lot going on at Guild Hall today. Cookie Design with Citarella at 2 p.m., KidFEST Hands-On Arts & Crafts Workshop at 4 p.m., and KidFEST Wild World of Animals at 5 p.m.
— Slow Food is expanding its board to 12 members and will be adding two additional leader positions this year. The organization is looking for people who are interested in serving on the committees. To nominate someone, or yourself, click here. You must be a current member of Slow Food USA to be nominated. The deadline is Sept. 5.
— Set your DVR. A rerun of Donna McCue's appearance on ABC's Shark Tank is scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m. The Springs resident tries to sell a panel of businessmen and women on Fat Ass Fudge, an organic and natural chocolate and fudge line that she started five years ago.
