Police are exploring all possible leads.

East Hampton Town police detectives are investigating why someone would shoot up a woman's house and car in Springs.

Several bullets were fired from a shotgun outside of a house on Three Mile Harbor-Hog Creek Road between 3 and 3:15 a.m., according to Detective Lt. Chris Anderson. He said a car outside the residence was hit, as well as the garage door, leading to a vehicle inside the garage to be struck, as well.

The occupants inside the home called police to report the incident at 7:30 a.m.
