Diddy's Unwanted House Guest Takes Plea Deal

The Queens man who was arrested for trespassing at the East Hampton home of hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs in April took a plea deal after spending more than three months behind bars in lieu of $2,000 bail.

, 30, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, in on Thursday and received a sentence of 120 days in jail in exchange — most of which he has already served. As part of the plea bargain, the petty larceny charge, also a misdemeanor, was dropped.

Town Justice Lisa R. Rana also ordered Taylor to stay away from Combs, his homes, and businesses. He agreed to refrain from contacting Combs via phone or email. The order of protection is in place until July 7, 2017.

This wasn't the first time that Taylor was at the rapper-producer's East Hampton house. Eleven years earlier, he was arrested there on similar charges.

Since his arrest on April 1, a for Taylor had been completed, but neither the defense nor the prosecution wished to hold a hearing on the matter.

Justice Rana issued a temporary at an earlier court date, while Taylor was being held on bail at the the Suffolk County jail in Riverside.

According to town police, Taylor took the train to East Hampton on March 31 and a cab to Combs' Northwest Woods house, where a caretaker found him on the afternoon of April 1. Police said he ate food and drank alcohol and soda that was in the house.

Combs was not at the house at the time.

There were no signs of a break-in; he entered through an open basement door, according to police.

According to his arrest report, though, Taylor had triggered the alarm, prompting a visit from Scan Security Company and a police officer on April 1 just after 1 a.m. They spoke with Taylor, "who was believed to have permission to be at the residence at the time," the police report said.

When officers were called back to the scene by the caretaker — according to the arrest report it was some time around 4 p.m. — they arrested Taylor. They let him get dressed before taking him away in handcuffs, police said.
