To celebrate the feast of St. Francis, pets receive grace.

Christians celebrate the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and the environment, on Oct, 4 by having their pets blessed. In East Hampton, there are many blessings to choose from, so gather up your dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, scaled friends and feathered friends and head to your local church over the next few weekends.
